Coaching
When we talk of coaching, we mean specifically the development or improvement of specific competencies within the Leadership Model.  All of our coaching is tied to our Leadership Model and focuses on specific competencies.  We address development at the broader cluster level through courses in the Core Curriculum.

The Office of Leadership Development intends to develop a cadre of coaches to support the development of the competencies identified in our Leadership Model. We will make coaching services available to the positional leaders within the District. We hope to have an initial group of ten to twenty leadership competency coaches ready to serve by early November 2003.

We will strongly encourage both the Learner and the Coach to provide feedback on how well each coaching opportunity plays out. We intend that this evaluation will inform ongoing efforts at continuous improvement to make the coaching more timely with higher quality and greater relevance.
