Site Based Improvement
Site-Based Improvement is a part of the Office of Leadership Development's mission to serve as a resource and liaison for schools, communities and central offices. The Office provides leadership, resources, and support for the district’s site-based efforts to improve student achievement. These resources include:

  • 2006-07 Site Council Rosters facilitate communication with and between site council members.

  • Site Council Process Guide and Toolkit is a valuable resource for site council members.  It covers the basics of the site-based process ("do"s and "don't"s), with many resources to help your council become more effective, welcoming and respectful.

  • Site council trainings welcome new members and build the capacity of site-based decision-makers. For information, please contact Leanne Crowley at 651-793-5486 or leanne.crowley@spps.org.

  • Grants may be available for schools that need additional resources to increase the capacity and diversity of their site councils.  If you are interested, please contact Joe Munnich at 651-767-8109 or joe.munnich@spps.org.
